Cup of Jehovah: Coffee and a newspaper are available in the Dickinson Room at 9:30 Sunday mornings.
Additional Programs:
Throughout the year, educational opportunities are scheduled at times other than on Sunday morning. Movies of current interest, such as “An Inconvenient Truth,” are shown and discussed. During Lent, a weekly soup-supper for the entire family is followed by programs for various age groups. Occasionally, North Church hosts speakers, such as Rev. Tony Campolo, for lectures that are open to all who are interested, including those in the broader Western New York community.
Community Forums:
North Presbyterian Church believes that it is important for members of the wider community to be able to come together to learn about and discuss topics of common concern. The Adult Discipleship Committee, therefore, sponsors occasional community forums. We have sponsored gatherings focused on violence and our youth, and on the various services available to meet the needs of older adults. Community forums are scheduled as needs arise.
